So my friend Ed came to visit the city for the weekend because he had to pick up his visa

to go back to London

where he will be beginning the four year program the most prestigious fashion design school...in the world. It is literally the best design school...on the planet, Central Saint Martins!

No bigs. 

These are some of Ed's designs and work.

We became close before we did the Fusion fashion show together (his collection shown above) but that experience definitely brought us closer. I think Edwin is cool not only because he is an unbelievably talented and committed designer, student and person to his work and vision- but because he has always been a thoughtful and sensitive friend to me. Fashion school proved to be difficult for me (surprise surprise) and I always felt like he was on my team, cheering me on when I was crying face down into my sewing machine at 5am needing some extra encouragement.

I can't wait to hear all about his experience in London and to see where his path across the pond will end up taking him. Thanks for being so cool Ed. Rove you.
